Mike encouraged us to challenge the land developer on a few upgrades so we could get the modern and contemporary design we wanted. Our walls are 100% ICF Block and this was not an easy home to build. Mike only uses the very best trades and ones he chose had a lot of experience and lots of respect for Mike, a guy who knows his stuff and does a good job. Also Mike has a good crew that has been with him for many years, they were hard working, efficient, clean, and courteous. I did a lot of finishing myself like doors, baseboards, tiling, and engineered floors. Everything was always perfectly level, plumb, and on the square. For example our family room that is about 35 feet wide, the variance was less than 1/8th of an inch, wow! Would highly recommend that if you are looking for a custom home that you use Mike and Sarah Giesbrecht, you will end up with what you want at a fair price.”
