Mike Giesbrecht
Owner, Registered Builder
Some people are simply born to do things, and Mike was born to build. A true island boy, Mike spent time in Vancouver from 2001-2003., where he received his Red Seal TIcket and became a proud member of the carpenter union. In 2004, Mike moved back to the island and started Giesbrecht Buildings Inc. One of the first family homes Mike built was his own, with his wife, Sara. Since then, Mike and GBI have built array of dream homes in Campbell RIver. Mike is passionate about building, devoted to his clients, and always striving to improve his craft. He enjoys the entire building process, from conception to the banging of nails to watching his clients move in to their new home. Mike takes pride in not just building homes, but in building dream homes.
Kyle Richardson
Site Superintendent
Nicknamed “the Idea Guy,” Kyle began his career working as a labourer, and fell in love with every aspect of construction and carpentry. He joined Giesbrecht Buildings Inc. in 2004 and has become a key member of the team. Kyle is respected as much for his strong work ethic as he is for his creativity in solving problems and his desire to always be learning. When it comes to building, Kyle’s motto is simple: when it is perfect, it is acceptable. As a result, Kyle has earned a reputation for paying attention to every detail and for being meticulous and thorough in every aspect of the building process. Nothing gets past Kyle, and our clients love him for it.
