Some people are simply born to build — and Mike is one of them. A true island local, Mike spent several years in Vancouver from 2001 to 2003, where he earned his Red Seal certification and became a proud member of the carpenters’ union. In 2004, he returned home to Vancouver Island and founded Giesbrecht Buildings Inc. since then, he’s helped bring countless dream homes to life across Campbell River. Mike is passionate about every part of the building process, from first concept to framing to handing over the keys. His dedication to craftsmanship, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement has made him a trusted name in the community. For Mike, it’s never just about building houses — it’s about building lasting homes, relationships, and legacy.

Known on-site as “the Idea Guy,” Kyle began his career as a labourer and quickly fell in love with every aspect of construction. Kyle is respected for his tireless work ethic, keen eye for detail, and relentless drive to learn and improve. His standard is clear: when it’s perfect, it’s acceptable.
